PSJA ISD - Important Message

PSJA ISD is aware of the recent allegations regarding Cesar Chavez and is taking this matter very seriously.  

We recognize the significance of the individuals our schools are named after and the values they represent, including Cesar Chavez Elementary. 

We also want to acknowledge those who have come forward and approach this situation with respect and sensitivity toward all those impacted. 

Our District leadership has begun reviewing the matter and will continue evaluating next steps, with additional updates to follow after Spring Break. 

PSJA ISD remains committed to upholding the values of integrity, respect, and accountability, and to maintaining the trust of our students, families, and community.

PSJA ISD está al tanto de las recientes alegaciones relacionadas con César Chávez y está tomando este asunto con la mayor seriedad.

Reconocemos la importancia de las personas que dan nombre a nuestras escuelas y los valores que representan, incluyendo César Chávez Elementary.

También queremos reconocer a quienes han alzado la voz y abordar esta situación con respeto y sensibilidad hacia todas las personas afectadas.

El liderazgo del distrito ha comenzado a revisar el asunto y continuará evaluando los próximos pasos, con actualizaciones adicionales después de las vacaciones de Spring Break.
